Set LED count separate for Left Top Right Bottom. I have 6 more leds at the top than at the bottom, We definitely need a better way to line up the leds to whats on the tv screen.

Also when updating firmware it should save led count. I installed the new update then had to count the leds again.

Due to the lower part of my Sony TV being much thicker than the tops and sides (due to the internal electronics) + the bottom part curves at the sides, my DIY setup wants to have a different number of LEDs on the bottom. I’m trying to work out the best way to fit the same number at the bottom as at the top, but if the App allowed different numbers, that would solve my problem.

Agreed. I forgot the count and didn't write it down. Like you had to count them again as I assumed DS would remember.

I too was in the same situation and used painters tape so I could move the LED's around till I finally got my numbers to match.

I too was in the same situation and used painters tape so I could move the LED's around till I finally got my numbers to match. That’s exactly what I’ve been doing! Whilst waiting for a larger power supply, power cable and power connectors to arrive, I’ve driven my wife crazy spending the past two weeks taping the strip in different positions, testing out one side at a time. But on the day that all my parts arrived, the hub failed, and now needs replacing.

Dang...after all that what a disappointment that must have been. Hopefully the replacement will be rock solid for you.

Is this something that is likely to be implemented? I am planning on using 2 strips on an LG OLED which are very thin on the top and sides but protrude quite a bit at the bottom, and am unsure how to make the top and bottom aligned without this feature being added.

This (important) feature is on the list, but unfortunately I do not know if or when it will be implemented. It's not a simple mod, but I am still advocating for it.

I thought you could do 125 per led strip, I'm trying to do 83 wide and 38 tall but it it is limiting me to 80 wide. now the alignment is off because it stopped at 80 for the bottom and then picked for the side but it is still on the bottom and the last LED are not on Attachments:
