I have ordered this splitter amzn.to/1nwvGx2 but sadly it was defect.
I was not able to select any sorce.
Anyhow i wondering how the set up is suppose to work with this splitter.
Doesn't the DS needs to go in the output sorce as well as the HDMI cable going to the TV?
This splitter does only have one output??
If i want to try a different splitter is there any splitter i have to look after in terms of specifications?

Because the particular Splitter has only one Output, you would connect it to look something like this:
HDMI1---|
HDMI2----> amzn.to/1nwvGx2 ---> DreamScreen Splitter ---> TV
HDMI3---|
In this setup you would be using both the new Splitter and the one we provided with DreamScreen.

OK.. i had planed to replace the one shipped with DS with the new one.
But using both together is working as well.

i have bought this splitter now ( www.amazon.de/gp/product/B01H1XAR5G/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ) It a high quality little unit and works together with my Logitech Harmony well. I have connected my cable box and my Amazon TV to the input of this splitter and the output goes to the input of the splitter that came with the DS. This way all works well. I did try to us a HDM Y splitter cable first but that did not work. So i am all happy now with DS. |
