I have just purchased a DreamScreen 4k solo from Lime Pro Gaming (uk) and was wondering if you had any advice how I can connect it to my receiver as it only has one output on it? I know it seems strange that I purchased this, but it was the only one available in the uk and couldn’t get the other one with the 3 hdmi hub anywhere.
My set up is as follows, I hava a yamaha receiver, with an LG b8, ps4 Pro, x box one x, Apple TV and a cable box, so will using a hdmi splitter going into the one output on my receiver work, or does anybody have a suggestion where I will be able to get this to work at all?
1. HTPC (Dell Hybrid Studio 140G + XFX Single Slot RX 550 ) 2. (PS3, Roku+, Chromecast) - grouped via Kinivio 350BN switch 3. PS4 4. Android TV Streaming Box
Onkyo AV only has one HDMI output which now would directly go to HDMI Input 1 on Samsung UA50HU7000R
Reading thru all the threads it now clear that I need an HDMI splitter to send the same signal to 4K Solo, which is going to the TV.
Based on my research and range of usage so far, I conclude HD-Fury range of products is an overkill for my needs plus way above my budget.
I am looking for low-mid price alternatives to serve my purpose, I have come across the following based on the thread info and some personal searching.
Can someone please recommend amongst them or another model maybe in similar price range. What are the bare minimum features needed to drive 4K Solo which viewing 4K 60Hz HDR content on the TV (a bit confused for downscaler on the second HDMI port on the splitter, is it needed for 4k to work ? )
