Hi. I have a Denon AVR x2200w, a LG B7 OLED TV, Nvidia SHIELD and a PS4 pro. The Shield works perfect with the the DS, TV and the AVR. Yesterday for the 1st time i tried to use the PS4 on the AVR with my DS. BUT i have no connection. When i use it without DS eyerything is good (unplugged DS) but with the DS i have no signal. Wtf? I made a video. I doesnt matter which mode on the DS there is no signal. Some solutions? youtu.be/A0qZ68W_lLc

Under the PS4 resolution settings for 4K it has options "2160p YUV420" and "2160p RGB". Without going through the DS4K I can use "2160p RGB" no problem but the "2160p RGB" mode will not work for me going through the DS4K. I had to change the PS4 resolution to the "2160p YUV420" mode to get any signal via the DS4K.
If that does not work try changing the PS4 video output settings so they are not "Automatic", start with lower res/lower settings (like 1080p and HDR off etc) to try and get a signal and then try and change the settings up to see which (or which combination) causes the loss of signal.

Thank you. I choose the YUV420 option from the beginning.
What is the sense of these resolution tests. DS4k is 4k and it must, i repeat, it must go. All other options are bugs and should be fixed.
Today sometimes i get a connection. But i don't know how i did this. I guess it depends on how you switch on the hardware in which row. Do you wached my video? Do you see what i did?

I agree, and I assumed when I bought it that the DS4K would just "work". But it seems the whole HDMI "standards" are a complete mess and the DS4K cannot support all the HDMI standards. After a lot of messing about with different settings and different HDMI cables I have come to the conclusion that the DS4K just does not support all modern standards and I don't think it ever will. My recommendation is, if you have problems, just forget trying to use the DS4K as an HDMI hub, it's just not fit for purpose. I like what it does but you really need to feed it from a secondary HDMI feed as explained here: dreamscreen.boards.net/thread/1626/hdmi-switch-fix-when-fails

Hi. Thank you for your answer. But as you read i have the D4k Solo. No hub functions are used. The D4k works fine with the Nvidia Shield with e.g. movies with any resolution. But it doesn't work with the PS4. 2 times it worked in the last days but i can't say what i did. Just swiched on and it worked. Perfect. D4K with PS4 and AVR. And then? I swiched of and on again and it did't work. Don't know why? Crazy.
And the HDMI problem. For me HDMI is HDMI. ;-)

At the PS4, try turning HDCP off. That worked for me.
