My advice - give up trying to get it to work and go the HDMI switch route. It's a bit rubbish having to buy another device to get the DS4K to work properly but I just don't think the DS4K can work reliably as a hub if you are using modern 4K/HDCP/HDR etc. I think that's why DS have stopped making them, HDMI is just an ever changing nightmare of competing standards... See here for more info: dreamscreen.boards.net/thread/1671/thread-hdmi-cableshey, so i moved to a new place and did wire up the dreamscreen again to encounter the same issue. after using google, i came back to my own threat here to see your answer that i have missed back then. long story short, i finally got it working thanks to your tipp. i bought a HDMI 4x2 matrix with downscaler (actually two, first one did not really work well) together with a 1080p HDMI Dummy Plug. So, PS4 working, will see next week if this is still valid for the PS5 if someone encounters the same issue, this is what i purchased: www.amazon.de/gp/product/B087JCN28V/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1www.amazon.de/gp/product/B07YKGGQTJ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Just want to take the time to thank you for your time, trouble shooting and hard work. Super upset that the company took our cash then just abandoned us. At this moment, I’m trying to figure out how to splice the 4K kit with my own leds because naturally, I spent the extra money to not have to mess with the DIY kit and now Ive got to mess around and create my own DIY kit. I’m planning on busting open the end wire connector and somehow splice the DreamScreen wires to a working led.
