I also am getting a flickering that seems to be getting worse, almost to the point it is unwatchable. It's very annoying when it happens and distracts you're viewing. Mine seems to be 4-5 sections rather than the whole led strip. When watching it flickers in the upper left section and lower left section. I haven't tried anything to resolve as of yet, I'm guessing the first thing to try would be switching out the hdmi cables. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Tim

Hi Guys, first i have to say that i was very happy the first few days/weeks with my Dreamscreen, but then the flicker began and i dont know how i can fix that flicker. The only mode without flickering is the "Ambient Mode", but only if i choose one color. If i choose another ambient mode like 4th July or other the LED's will flicker. I would say it flickers 3-4 times in 1 minute and thats very annoying. Also in "Video Mode" the flicker is there. Sometimes often, sometimes not so often. Things i've tried to solve that problem: I have replaced the Dreamscreen and the switch from the back of TV to my TV-Table. I have replaced the HDMI-Splitter wih another splitter. I have replaced the AC to another socket. I have killed the app more than once (The bluetooth connection was very good all the time) and tried to change the modes directly with the stick without the app. I have used the Dreamscreenstick alone without a splitter only in "Ambient Mode" I have replaced all the HDMI-cables The other strange thing is: If i use the dreamscreen with the splitter (original or the other) and cut the electricity to the splitter and have the TV and all other things off and use ONLY the dreamscreen in ambient mode, the dreamscreen flickers alle the time very often in one second. How can that be? When the splitter has electricity, the flicker is not often, i would say it flickers 3-4 times in 1 minute. Im very mad and unhappy with my dreamscreen now and i dont know what i can do to stop that flicker Im a german customer. Sorry for my bad english and i hope anyone can help me to solve that problem. i cant use the dreamscreen with that problems

I was having issues with sections of the led strip flickering, after the suggestion of completely closing out the app after switching the DreamScreen on, I am very happy to report that the flickering has completely gone away. I've been using it for several weeks now with zero issues.!!! I love my DreamScreen, very cool technology!! 😎

Hi Guys, I have the same issue. However mine relates more to material being played back at 10800/24Hz rather than 1080p/60hz. I simply cannot get Dreamscreen to correctly function at 24Hz. Its simply doesn't like to passthrough a 1080p/24hz signal. Yes, it can do it, but its more of a brute-force way of doing it. On closer inspection and using a tool called "Moninfo" the information read back to the PC from the Dreamscreen tells me that there is no support for 1080p/24p on the Dreamscreen. All other resolutiosn are available except 1080p/24p. This explains why I get the flashing lights on some playback sources. its basically the Dreamscreen trying to view the 24p content but struggling with syncing the resolution so it goes "ape" not seeing it correctly. Sometimes it syncs, most of the tiem it doesn;t and the onyl way to fix it is to switch to da different HDMI source and switch back to the Dreamscreen. Content at 1080p/60hz plays back not problem at all and I get not flashing lights.

Just got my Dreamscreen yesterday and installed. I'm a cord cutter running both an XBoxX & Apple TV 4K via 4x4HDMI matrix to the Dreamscreen hub feeding to a120" BenQ 4K projector. Saw the flickering almost immediately and found this chain. When I read the prob taking about refresh rates I realized I had told the AppleTV to sync frame rates. I unchecked that selection and restarted everything.... No flicker. (Xbox X had no issues to begin with). Hope this helps... The Dreamscreen is amazing... It enhances evening we do on the projector screen.
