I would really like the feature in the app to be able to cut off individual sections of the LEDs. For example in my set up I have a sound bar that is installed directly under the TV. I would like to be able to turn off all the LEDs just behind the sound bar leaving others on the side of the sound bar on. That way at least I’m getting some function of the LEDs on the sides at the bottom.

You can already do this by turning the Zones on and off in the app's Video Settings.

You can already do this by turning the Zones on and off in the app's Video Settings. but this turns off a complete side - I think we want to turn off only some LEDs

Yes, correct I know that you can turn off sides, but I would like to take this a step further and be able to turn off individual sections of the LEDs again I have a sound bar that is take me up some space on the bottom of the TV. I have about a foot on each side at the bottom where I could at least have the two ends on the bottom of the TV on and the ones in the middle off. I am sure that there will be others that will have sound bars with the similar issue, with larger TVs. Thanks for the help if you can make this happen

This feature is already on our backlog. You have a soundbar, others might have the TV stands/supports in the way. However I admit it is a low priority item at this time

Thank you for responding, definitely can understand it not being a priority, with trying to get the lights integrated with hue lights, and the harmony elite remote. Looking forward to these features.
Thinking of putting a secondary string of LEDS lights under the sound bar. What would you recommend?

Honestly I think it depends on how big the soundbar is and how everything is mounted. I know of multiple DS'ers with soundbars in their setups

All lights are mounted on tv at this point, (kinda regret not going to the bigger size extreme on my 65”) Sony Bravia 65” w/Yamaha ysp3300 sounbar, small gap at bottom of tv due to notch on the bottom of tv, sound bar is flush up to that notch. This creates the DS lights bleeding through the gap due to the notch(about 1/2”). I was thinking of adding strip of LEDs (using the 2nd port on the splitter)on bottom of sound bar so the light would look as if it was continuing to flow through the back of the sound bar. Sound bar is approximately 4ft, tv is about5ft Do not I think it’s possible due to the way sound bar is attached to run the DS LEDs off of the TV on to the sound bar, any suggestions would be appreciated....
In addition the reason for my original post, would like to be able to turn off the DS LEDs bleeding through that gap. Since you already have in the coding that you can cut the bottom completely off, doesn’t seem like It would be too much trouble be To add code to be able to cut off each individual section of those LEDs. Anyway really enjoying the lights!!!
Also, another issue I have noticed which is minor is the color of the lights sometimes don’t match up with what’s on the TV, probably should make this a separate post? When there is explosion, or a fire the lights are white on the wall where they really should be reds and oranges not sure if anybody else is experiencing this issue?? Would really love to see more orange and red’s, When there is fire, explosions, etc. instead of the lights turning pure white on the wall.
Again thank you for the help in advance
