I am currently finishing up an app for Apple TV that acts as a bridge from Plex Media Server to Hue. Similar to Hue Sync. Is this something you guys would be interested in? If yes, what would be an acceptable price to ask? Thinking $5.

I read that the Hue lights will only work in ambient mode with dreamscreen. So not while watching movies?

Hello Kyle, I've just bought a DS 4K. It will be possible to connect to hue bulbs with it ? What about "DS connect" ? Thanks for response BR

To Connect to Hue lights in Video Mode you will need a DreamScreen unit as well as a DreamScreen Connect (not released yet)

I've recently written a little script to get the colours from the Dreamscreen API (similar to how Sidekicks work) and it should be possible to convert this into a Philips Hue bridge Not sure about the Hue Sync though, that might be harder. But the regular Philips Hue colour updates should be easy enough Link: https://gist.github.com/WoLpH/ff13e3a78387dae56967c92f72960117 Screenshot:
