Hi kyle Do you guys have any plans on integrating Siri Shortcuts into your app? It appears the member who integrated DS into Home Assistant doesn’t have the time to update breaking changes. Shortcuts seems like a good option IMO Thanks!

This would require our upcoming DreamScreen Connect to work but it's definitely something we are aiming to do.

Why would the connect be needed? All of my current apps that updated their apps to include Siri Shortcuts didn’t need additional hardware to intergrade.

You will need approximately 4 meters of SK6812, WS2812B. 30 led per meter if TV is a couple of inches from the wall or 60 led per meter if more than a couple of inches from wall.

Ok so 4m 60 Leds , cause my TV is far from the wall I guess the SK6812 is better cause WS2812B if one LED dead then all the rest dead. Which model are the Flex ? SK6812 RGB right ?

Forget the WS2812B and go for the SK6812 or WS2813. A great led to use would be a SK6812 side emitting led strip. I wanted to use those but were to much money for my needs/wants.They will give maximum effect IMO. Don't remember which led DS comes with but if you do search of the forum you will find it.I had the DS flex and the difference is dramatic using SK6812 60 count. You should considering looking at the back of your TV and evaluating where to mount the strip as there may be something that will alter where you mount. Example is on mine 2.5" in the is a rise which has an angle that lets the leds point outward somewhat. Also then you can measure your TV to make sure you get the correct length. Keep in mind DS has a maximum of 250 LED's per port. If you use 2 ports you'll need an additional power supply.

Thanks , yes that's what I was suggested from other brand named Ambivision,,, this would be my next upgrade, I got one ordered ..
Their Leds comes with SK6812 and they said the quality is better, WS2813 has just a LED extra data lane , and it seems everyone says it has lower quality leds. so this will be big plus . I'll just get SK812 RGBW 60 leds that they will send me and get it done with perfect ambilight.

Don't think SK6812 RGBW are compatible with DS. Only RGB is.

Gotcha.
Great looking product... However talk is cheap. Maybe not any better and I don't care for the camera that has to point at your tv.
