I just received my Dream Screen 4K and installed the leds that come with it as follow:

I connected all cables except the leds. Iused the Android App to connect to it and I could configure the wifi and all the settings.

But as soon as I connected the leds to the DS4K, it shut down:

The video also cuts off.

Any ideas? Did I create a shortcircuit somewhere? Did I cut the leds strip wrong?

I got the same problem, but it started today. The setup was working fine before.
Now, when the LEDs are connected, the power light on the box turns off. Also, the yellow/green LED on the power bar blinks very slowly instead of staying on. It looks like a short-circuit but nothing was changed, so it seems weird.

This is not a common issue but has happened to a few customers in the past. We were able to fix the issue by providing replacement LEDs.
