You can still buy from the European vendors they still have stock, I bought Flex strips and extenders today. I spoke to Vincent and he said they will continue to support the DS for a while but no sales anymore.
So what happens when the IOS app is no longer supported!
Bad news is the iOS app no longer talks to my DS4K in the iOS 13 betas. I suspect it is the same thing that is causing my network troubleshooting apps not to be able to detect wifi either. I guess there's a chance this will get changed in later betas, but i suspect this is an intentional change on Apple's part and will require app updates.
It's really a shame that there is no official statement how to continue. I've bought my DS just 2 months ago and I was not aware at this point of time that DS has "shutdown" their business. To my luck everything is OK for me (DS 4k) - but in case of soft- or hardware problems the money (and the fun) has gone I think... too sad!
I bought a 4k version of this back in February. About a month ago it stopped working. The hdmi output stopped being detected by the TV. Contacted DS and they said I could receive s replacement under warranty. Since then they have ignored all communication. Yet when I emailed them with a general question under a different email address they replied within minutes.
Feeling totally scammed by them. And foolish that I had recommended them to so many people.
pls update the app or the fw so wifi is working again... i setup the thing with my ex girls iphone... i never installed the app on my phone... when she was gone i did and i never was able to connect again...
