hi there,
i got my dreamscreen 4K a couple of days ago. my 4k IPTV receiver works well with it, i dont get any issues. But everything I tried with my PS4 Pro is causing issues. I have reduced the video settings on the PS4 to minimum, tried at least 20 HDMI Kables and disabled everything in the App, i always get the same result: Screen and LEDs going on and off, briefly showing the PS4 video signal, then going off again. I managed to get it to run once after changing and setting the video resolution to 4k YUV while the screen went on and off, but after switching to the TV and back to PS4, same behaviour. I also have the latest firmware on the device according to the app.
I am lost what i can do to fix this, any help is much apreciated.

Turn off any HDR, no 24 fps, get an exceptional cable for both source and Ds. Another option is a downgrading splitter, send 1080 to ds and 4k to tv.

they are 1.2m each. cant go any shorter to my tv Where did you buy? write an email and ask for a replacement device, or you use a hdmi splitter and uses the 4k hub as a solo hub, so without hdmi cable to the tv |

My advice - give up trying to get it to work and go the HDMI switch route. It's a bit rubbish having to buy another device to get the DS4K to work properly but I just don't think the DS4K can work reliably as a hub if you are using modern 4K/HDCP/HDR etc. I think that's why DS have stopped making them, HDMI is just an ever changing nightmare of competing standards... See here for more info: dreamscreen.boards.net/thread/1671/thread-hdmi-cableshey, so i moved to a new place and did wire up the dreamscreen again to encounter the same issue. after using google, i came back to my own threat here to see your answer that i have missed back then. long story short, i finally got it working thanks to your tipp. i bought a HDMI 4x2 matrix with downscaler (actually two, first one did not really work well) together with a 1080p HDMI Dummy Plug. Hey guys any update with the PS5??? I had to remove my ps5 from the deamscreen hub which sucks big time! - I had very weak colours that didnt really match what was on the screen amd a cut in the audio every few mins - if I turned off the hdr on the ps5 it would work but still cut out the audio out - is there a fix for this  ? thank any help would be amazing |

I have not encountered any issues, also HDR is working well for me! |
