Dreamscreen not showing up in network after pairing

Hi, because I swapped out a defective led strip I wanted to do initial setup again, since I don't own the same phone anymore as I used to do the first initial setup with I downloaded the app again, factory resetted the dreamscreen (network shows up as dreamscreen 3234) and tried pairing. It first tries to connect, wants to save my ssid and password from my router, wraps a few things up, and... Not showing up... Still visible as dreamscreen 3234...
Tried unplugging the dreamscreen
Tried unplugging the dreamscreen and plugging back in while keeping my router unplugged (factory reset, I read)...
Tried circumventing my router by using a spare phone and setting it up as a 4g hotspot

Any further suggestions?
