general set up question

I have received my dream screen yesterday and it's working already ...like it a lot!!

I am using a Samsung smart TV which quite often is used to watch Amazon movies but most of the time i am using a cable receiver
to watch TV.

I have set up dream screen as followed:
- dream screen stick connected (power supply and LED stripes attached to the stick of course) to the HDMI Splitter
- HDMI cable connected to the splitter and to the TV set.
- HDM cable connected from the Cable receiver to the splitter
- splitter power supply from one of the TV usb ports to the splitter.

With this set up dream screen is working fine watching TV through the cable receiver.

How do i need to make the set up to have dream screen working with the TV internal apps like amazon movie??

Can someone please explain me the set up for this.
