For our international customers, your package must pass a customs inspection before it is delivered to you or you are allowed to pick it up. Please be mindful of the tracking information and the package location. If you see that it is near its destination and not moving for a prolonged time, the package may be being held by Customs. If you must meet with Customs to discuss or pick up your package they may ask you for additional documentation such as: - Invoice/Receipt for DreamScreen
- Instruction Manual
- Declaration of Conformity

Hey guys, just to give you an update, finally my dreamscreen its on his way, after being released by the Portuguese Customs. I payed 50.20 euros (56.61 USD) tax from the DS pre-order price (185$ with dlv). It took one month and two weeks - Gonna pick it up as soon as I can! Just to give you the heads up, a European retailer would be much appreciated for the next hardware revisions!  |

i went picking up my package today at German customs.
I had to open the package and show the German power supply (they said they need to see it) and explained what
the dream screen is and how it works.
The bill for Dream screen was 185$ total (shipping included) .
I had to pay 37 € for customs fee and income tax... so overall not too bad.

With UK customs it often seems to be a matter of luck - My DreamScreen was despatched on Tuesday and I picked it up from my local Post Office (as I had to pay the customs duties etc) on Saturday - i.e. 5 days! It passed through customs the same day it arrived in the UK. I was also pleasantly surprised that I only had to pay £13.69: £5.69 VAT + £8 handling charge to the Post Office, much less than I'd expected. And the product is great, but that's another story! |

As Neil said, customs for international orders is largely based on luck. This applies to most international orders, not just ones going to the UK. We have noticed some countries, such as Germany, are more strict than others when it comes to holding packages and collecting fees, causing delivery times for international orders to fluctuate quite a bit.

Hi. It is possible to send with "Standard Shipping" and not with "first Class Mail International" ? That way we might bypass customs.  |

I am not sure what you mean by "Standard Shipping." We're given the options of using "First Class Internatonal" or "Priority International" and both of these still have to pass through customs.

I mean Most simple delivery with tracking number.
"First Class International״ it's same DHL/EMS/UPS ,These 99% will go to customs.

First Class International is our lowest priced shipping for packages of this size. This is NOT the same as DHL/MES/UPS and is shipped by the United States Postal Service

When your order gets shipped, you should receive an email notification about it, with a tracking number.
Right now, only the orders for people who ordered the DreamScreen HD on Kickstarter, are shipping... except for those who ordered it with FLEX lights, those have a small delay. All other orders (including DreamScreen HD ordered through Indiegogo or on the Dreamscreen website) have not been shipped yet.

I Baked a DreamScreen HD DIY Kit on KS and the last email i got was the Mail who ask for my address ... that was on 30.June since than i check regularly my spam folder, too. Thats why i'm a little bit nervous now.

I was a little bit concerned too. I just heard that hd-sets will be shipped beginning in july, but no one informed the people about that kickstarter backers first and Indiegogo backers last will be served.
I am an Indiegogo backer and placed my order at beginning of June.
So, now I am in the situation that it is nearly mid September and I have no clue when my hd-set with sidekicks will be shipped. Not really satisfying.
