FYI
IOS DS app update showed up today with new firmware for HD and 4k
HD 1.3.1.7 / 4k 1.3.5.2
- changes to discovery procedure
- button for software restart
- displays device IP in settings
no mention of HDR and 24Hz fixes though

The version mentioned in the OP is what I already have on mine anyway (android).
It sounds like they have made changes to the iOS app.

on my HD 1.3.1.7 was new
according to the Apple app store it was only released yesterday
the version 1.2.1.7 before from like 3 months ago didnt have the capability of restarting the DS HD from the app
on kickstarter they mentioned it was staged a month ago - so I guess it took longer on Apple than on Android
They did mention on kickstarter that the new firmware for fixing 24Hz should be released in two weeks

google play store only shows the older version with firmware 1.2.1.7 for HD and doesnt have the DS restart option
so Apple seems to be faster than Google in approving - IF DS submitted both at the same time

We are performing a staged rollout of a new app update, app version 1.7, to both iOS and Android. It will be available to everyone within the week, as it is random in who gets access to the update first. We always perform staged rollouts to help catch any regressions early.
The 1.3.x.x firmware has been previously released and shipped on quite a few hubs. It fixed a couple bugs but nothing considered critical. We are still working on the next major firmware update.
This app update paved the way for translating the app into different languages. If anyone would like to help translate, or just Beta test the translated version of the app, please PM me with your email address. German translation is planned; Spanish and French are being considered.

would you mind publishing a thread here on the forum with the firmware version and changes for both models ?
That would be easier than in the app - i.e on IOS you can see the previous versions - on Android it only shows the latest
