Hello,
I was recently notified that my DS4k + 2 Sidekicks was being delivered and I am expecting them soon. I have been reading these forums and I am seeing a ton of people complain about significant issues with the DS4k, these issues are ranging from HDR not playing nice with the DS4k, the sidekicks lagging when colors change, connectivity problems and that the LEDs showing as blue/teal rather than white.
These issues have got me worried about receiving this item since I have been waiting for it for so long. So I wanted to ask how many people have the DS4k and it is working perfecting for them without issues? I'm not sure if I will get a true indication of the people that have everything working perfectly because of the fact that there likely aren't people surfing these forums unless they need help with something, but I still wanted to ask.
Thank you,

I can't answer, because I don't have one yet, but if it makes you feel any better, in my experience, people usually only post on forums when they're having problems. So, it probably looks skewed that way, since nobody is popping on just to say "hey, everything is fine."
I only have the OG Dreamscreen, and aside from bluetooth issues it works great for me. I did have an issue with the original unit I got, but support was easy to work with and super quick to get me a replacement. Hopefully it's cool! I'm very excited for the 4K upgrade.

I've been using the dreamscreen 4k for about 2 months now. Im pretty amazed how well it works. Im using it with a Samsung UHD TV and Chromecast Utra + PS4 Pro.
Up until today i havent had any problems with it. The only thing i've noticed yesterday was that the build in fan in the dreamscreen unit is a bit noisy after 8+ hours of use.

Thank you for all of your input. I am excited to get the 4k Dreamscreen also and if a loud fan is the only issue that comes up for me then I will be beyond pleased with the system.

The fan is really annoying. Even if the device just has to route the signal throughto the TV without the need of analyzing it or to steer the LEDs its getting noisy.
I'm using an Yamaha AV Receiver RX 850 and just hearing radio forces the dreamscreen to start flickering with the LEDs.
3 times I had to restart the Dreamscreen to get it running again.

My DreamScreen 4K + Flex is working almost perfect and I love the system.
Only 2 things I have a problem with is whitewashed colors with HDR content (but this is known and being worked one).
And the handshake with HDCP2.2. When PS4 Pro is set to HDCP2.2 is works sometimes for 15min and then video drops (LEDs are still working though), sometimes 30min, sometimes 5min, totally random how long it works on HDCP2.2 on the PS4 Pro. All the rest of my gear and cables are HDCP2.2 and work fine with DreamScreen out of the circuit. When I set my PS4 Pro to HDCP1.4 (through safemode), DreamScreen works flawless. No Wifi issues, fast response, very impressive.
I do know HDCP2.2 is a nightmare to work with. There are so many splitters and switches and cables on the market that say they are HDCP2.2 compliment and don't work with many different things. Cables a bit too long, doesn't work. Hate HDCP2.2!
