Hi all,
Anyone here that has tried the HDFury Linker in combination with a Dreamscreen (HD/4k)? I am currently awaiting delivery of my WS2182b's, which is the only component missing in my setup right now and can keep everyone update on progress if this would be useful.
Thus far, my ATV4k - Denon - Samsung setup is working as it should, meaning: the HDMI Out 1 of the Denon is currently hooked up directly to the Samsung TV while HDMI Out 2 goes into the HDFury Linker to downscale the 4k signal to 1080p which in turn goes into the Dreamscreen and then into the Samsung (HDMI 2).
One thing I did notice though while testing various settings throughout the input box (AppleTV) such as 1080p HDR, etc.: The Dreamscreen is actually receiving a 1080p HDR enabled signal and still seems to be working fine - I would have thought that HDR signals in general are not working with the Dreamscreen HD? Unfortunately, I can't test 4k60 HDR as of yet as the Denon receiver is not compatible with the new Samsung TV series yet.
All comments appreciated!

I am curious if you have an update on your experience with the HDFury Linker?
I am also curious as to how your DS HD is handling the 1080p HDR enabled signal.
Thank you.

Excellent experience thus far. After replacing the Amazon Basics 2.0 cables in the chain with some KabelDirekt ones, handshake issues (occasionally pink backlight, green screen, etc.) are fairly rare and nothing that would require a complete boot-up of anything in the chain. Denon 2400 is doing a good job in outputting to a second video out and the HDFury is excellent in downscaling resolutions, albeit that HDR seems to be muted but more of a DS problem as we all have been discussing. Then again, outstripped HDR is simply 'muted' colours as well, which makes me wonder if we ever get juicier colours through DS.
