In case it's of any help to others with PS4 Pro issues - My setup with PS4 Pro -> DS4K -> Samsung KS8000 the only way I could get it to work for 4K was to set the PS4 Pro resolution to "2160p YUV420". Setting to "Automatic" or "2160p RGB" I get no signal via the DS4k.
Maybe I'll try some different cables one day to see if I can get RGB working again...

I just replaced my 2 HDMI cables with premium certified cables and no change from what I had before which as the OP said was unable to get anything more than YUV420 out of the PS4 when using the DS4K hub.
So...
PS4 Pro -> TV PS4 setting of Auto, YUV420 or RGB all work as expected.
PS4 Pro -> DS4K -> TV PS4 setting of YUV420 works, setting to Auto or RGB I get either a black screen or a "no signal" or usually it flicks between the two (black screen or no signal) but never any image.

If you had readed all my posts. I also say that i bought multiple certified cables but they all were hit and miss. Some work some dont. Even if i ordered couple of the same cables one works and the other dont. When i moved over to hdmi 2.1 cables (overkill i know) all my problems were gone. However my dreamscreen has a minor issue where my leds randomly decide to turn off. Got a replacement and that ine constantly is flickering like mad. Screen and the leds. So there are ds hubs that simply are faulty and cant take 4k without flicker. Im awaiting a new replacement as we speak

Do you have a link to them? I only ask as going to Belkin's own website and I can't see anything about HDMI 2.1. It only says this in the FAQ: "The Belkin AV10175 is an HDMI cable designed to support the latest HDMI specification." www.belkin.com/us/p/P-AV10175/www.amazon.co.uk/d/HDMI-Cables/Belkin-AV10175bt2M-BLK-Premium-Optimal-Viewing/B075N83B9X/

And have you tried the Belkin cables direct via DS4K like PS4 -> DS4K -> TV?
Does RGB mode work o.k. then?
Thanks

I bought them for 38 euros or something. Apple sells them as well. Be sure you see they support 48gbs then its hdmi 2.1. Again its overkill but imo its better to pay a bit more and be 100% certain its the hub and not the cables. Then to keep buying cables and keep wonderin what i causing the issue cable or hub ? yep also tried it in that order ps4>ds4k>tv Also if you find them expensive you could try only one for ds4k>tv up untill now i had good results with the hdmi that came with my ps4 as well

Hi guys, My suggestion for those setting up a system: Get a receiver or HDMI splitter (https://www.amazon.com/AV-Access-HDMI-Splitter-Scaler1x2/dp/B07BXNCWKX) with 2 or 3 HDMI Outputs, that is able to properly output the same signal to all outputs (I tested Yamaha, Marantz and Denon). Connect all your equipment to the receiver via HDMI. Now, one HDMI output goes to the TV and the second output goes to the DS4K box (configure the outputs so they repeat each others signal), bypassing the need to pass anything through the DS4K box while it receives the exact same signal that the TV is displaying. This will be specially necessary later this year when HDMI 2.1 is out and if you plan to use its features such as VRR, eARC, etc..., as the DS4K box does not have the necessary bandwith to properly passthrough the signal. I hope this can help some of you. That splitter has only one input, I need two, for Xbox one x and Nvidia shield.

Hoping there is a solution from DreamScreen team, We shouldn't be responsible to find a solution at this price point. If everything work with the same cable format or give us known good settings. HDMI cables are digital signals so there shouldn't be much mystery as to what works or not.
