Hi
I'm interested in buying DreamScreen for my 65"Sony 4K TV, but I'd like to run it off my Sony STR-DN1060 2nd HDMI output so as not to put an additional interface inline to the TV which is on the main HDMI.
Anybody have any experience or issues when running DreamScreen in this configuration, I'm assuming that both HDMI outs on my amp are passing the same resolution.
Any news on the Dreamscreen Solo which I believe is design to work in this situation or will the 4K version offer the same experience.
Many Thanks,
Jezza

Funny i should read this now as i’ve just bought myself an STR-DN1080 to get the fullest of my 4K HDR experience from Netflix (with Chromecast Ultra). I wasn’t thinking about it at the time, but realizing when hooking it all up that i could probably use the 2nd HDMI output for DS, thus being able to use ARC and CEC features from my Sony TV. (This didn’t work on my old Yamaha RX-V675, nor this new STR-DN1080. Find my thread if you want to know more)
Now everything is working (almost, still have to turn ds on/off manually) flawless.
So now i have selected HDMI A+B output on my STR-DN1080, which the AVR remembers. All you have to do is change to the HDMI input of your choice.
Hope your AVR will be as cooperative with your DS system as mine, or even better!
/H
