Hey guys, I'm looking to purchase the 4k + 2 side kicks package and want to know if it's worth it at this point. From what I've seen, it looks awesome, but I come here and see a LOT of issues people are having. If this is just the few unfortunate issues and the company is actively fixing things, I'll jump on board. But if these don't regularly "just work", then If rather hold off.
Looking for honest opinions before I drop $300+ on this.
My setup is really basic too
Sony 65" 930 Fire TV 4K Stick LG sound bar
99% of my content will be coming through PS Vue, so 720p signal, with the odd 4k stream via Kodi. But again, this all goes through the Fire TV.
Thanks in advance!

I too lurked around these boards for a couple of months before purchasing, scared off by the interoperability horror stories.
But aside from a disgustingly long shipment time, am a happy user for a couple of months. Setup and use has been painless, and am yet to find content that doesn't work with my setup:
Dreamscreen 4k, 70" Flex, 2x sidekick TV - Sony KD65x8500E AVR - Sony DN1080 Source - Nvidia Shield TV (4k Kodi, Netflix, Amazon, YouTube)
My AVR supports mirroring the HDMI out to a B port, so I used that and its been glitches.
Only gripes for mine are the LED colors are a bit off for me (white is too blue) and the glue backing failed despite textbook installation procedure and started lifting, but some Sugru product quickly resolved that.
Visiting the forum keeping an eye out for the Connect product.

Thank you for the reply and the helpful info. Good to hear a positive review. Honestly, the lack of any comment was making me think I was going to pass on this, but you just swayed me to give it a shot.
Also don't know what the Connect thing is. Will have to research and see if it's worth waiting for.
Thanks again

I have the 4K since last year working and is very good no problem. Including I play Xbox games in 4K and wow amazing pretty. Including 2 sidekicks in a TV Samsung 4K model QN75Q9FNAFXZA.
About the connection is very easy, just put the led strips in your TV and configure via iPhone or whatever you use and done very easy. I used before the lightberry and was more complex you needed to configure the linux. HERE NOT!!!
