Hi Everyone!
Just curious where everyone is mounting their DIY LED strips on the back of the tv? I have a 65” tv and I’m trying to decide what set up is best.
I figured out that I can make 60leds/m work for my tv but I would have to install the strips about 2 inches in from the edge of the tv. That would give me exactly 45 leds on each side and 80 on top/bottom. The max allowable!
OR
I could go with 30leds/m and just go right around the very edge of the screen. That’s gives me 23leds on each side and 43leds on top/bottom.
I want to go with the 60leds/m option for but I want to know if... A) will the leds be noticeably off with what’s on the screen because they’re not right at the edge? B) if they are off, can I adjust the depth of where the leds read from to adjust for the difference?
Thanks in advance!

IMO If your TV is only a few inches from the wall then go with the 30 LED / M and 2 inches is not an issue. It should be bright enough and be fairly accurate. If more than a few inches the go with the 60, which is what I had to do and have no regrets. see this
