We have a NAS. We can access the NAS videos/files directly thru the TV with no problem. A LAN Cat5e cable is connected directly into the back of the TV. This is how we get a signal and can access our home NAS unit.
Is there anyway I can get this signal to run thru the HUB? We would like to watch our movies ( from our NAS device ) with the benefits of the DreamScreen LED lights. But I nee to find a way for the signal from the LAN ( Cat 5e ) cable to get to the HUB then out from the HUB to my HDMI port on the TV?

We also have an ext. USB 3.0 drive with our movies on it. If I plug the USB directly into the side of the TV into the TV's USB port we can watch our movies just fine. This is how we have been doing it.
But in order for us to get the benefits of the DreamScreen LED lights I need to some how run the signal from the extrenal HD into the HUB and into the TV.
IS there anyway to do this?

No, DreamScreen can only take an HDMI input and is not able to analyze content via USB or Ethernet. You would need to figure out a way to transfer the content via HDMI cable.

I have been using DS4K with my NAS since release.
Just buy a Chromecast/Chromecast Ultra (for 4k) and use BubbleUPNP on an android device to cast to the CC plugged into DS.
Hope that helped.
