I think one of my Flex Led roll is defective. the leds right from the part where there is a join do not turn on. I have attached pics and shown marking as well. A part of the LEDs does not work. see pic. I have replaced multiple hdmi cables and switched ports. I have changed various modes such as music, video, and ambient and still it will not work.

Yup...looks like it to me. Especially as you note where the connection is.
Edit: However looking more closely it looks like you have others out on the upper left and bottom left and then at the end of the strip some are working.
Also looks like it may have been pulled it up and repositioned possibly causing an issue.

Also looks like it may have been pulled it up and repositioned possibly causing an issue. The DS led never came off the TV's back. The tracks you see of the residue is from a previous static led. When i pulled out the previous led, it left bits of the padding.

Did you configure the LEDs in the App’s Installation Settings after setup? If not please watch our Flex setup video on our website for more insight.

The issue has been resolved. As suggested by the staff, I had to add the number of leds for the diy flex led to the setting section in the app.
