I have a PC with HDMI output which works fine to my monitor and to my TV in any supported resolution from low res to 1080 to 4K. Absolutely no problems.
Connect a DS4K in the mix and I get either a black screen or no signal. VERY occasionally I will see a quick (1 or 2 seconds) view of the display, then it goes black again.
This is with a simple setup of PC -> DS4K -> TV or Monitor
PC is Ubuntu PC with integrated Intel HD Graphics 630 (Kaby Lake GT2). As far as I know this has NO HDR or HDCP support, it should just be a basic HDMI 1.4 signal.
So why won't a simple PC HDMI signal work with the DS4K?
I have tried: - Using the TV and my monitor as the display. - Different HDMI cables - Different refresh rates/resolutions. - Different DS4K input ports. - DS4K settings on/off (CEC etc).
Pretty frustrated with this, I think I will be sending it all back for a refund. I only have 2 sources (PC and PS4) and neither work properly. PC does not work at all and PS4 will only work with HDR disabled.

I had a similiar issue with an XBOX One and now with a PC. The fix for XBOX was to not select 'Allow YCC 4:2:2' in the video mode settings. Being my first PC in a long while, Ive yet to find that specific setting to make the change. I'm only assuming this could fix it. This sucks. Goodluck.
