Hi there,
I installed my DreamScreen on my 80” TV and hung the tv back on the wall.
The setup goes
PC —-> Yamaha Amp ——> DreamScreen —->. TV
So effectively the DreamScreen is only receiving the Video from the HDMI. As the amp is sending the audio to the connected sourround speakers.
The HDMI cable from the Amp to the DreamScreen HUB is about 10m long does this have something to do with no picture showing?
Will the hub only show a picture of it is HD Or 4K..?
Of intake the HDMI input to the hub Out and go straight to the tv the picture comes straight up. But when I go through the HUB there is no picture at all.
Please help ..!! I’ve tried customer support and have received no response at all.

Are you sure you sent an email to the right address? Please note that you will not receive a response on weekends as offices are closed.
Are you using the HD or 4K DreamScreen?

Thanks for the reply. I am using the 4K TV Backlighting kit - this is what the front of the box says.

When the DreamScreen HUB is bypassed and i connect straight to my TV the picture comes up fine and shows a resolution of 1080 is connected.
Have tried using my own HDMI cable from the HUB to TV and no good either.
Any ideas? Very frustrating after waiting so long for this and playing a lot of money to get it here...

Well I have no idea what to do next.
Have tried changing settings, on amplifier and PC and still nothing.
It doesn’t make sense my Amp says it’s outputting 1080p @ 60hz to the hub, yet the hub won’t pass this through to the TV
When the hub is bypassed everything works fine ...?
Very frustrating have spent a lot of time on this.

Does it show that you are connected in the app? Have you tried to restart the hub either manually or through the app? It has help me a couple of times.

The app turn the LEDs on when on ambient lighting. Just the video and music features do not work at all. I’m really lost on what to try?

Tap the gear icon and go down to update and reset. there you will see options including restart device and factory reset. Last resort you may try factory reset. You did configure things in the installation settings (flex, classic, ect and led count...very important)...correct?

Yes have configured. 40 LEDs across the top and 24 down the side of my 80” TV and flex selected. I’ll reset this all and try again. Failing this I’ll get someone’s Xbox and plug it in as a input and see if the picture shows. It’s been a massive hassle trying all this — never though it would Be this difficult.

Sounds like you have a bad hub. Hope it gets resolved soon. You probably already have done this but as a Last ditch effort...unplug it , remove the app...the start over.

On my setup I had to install the DS hub BEFORE the receiver to get it working, the DS hub is handling the sources now; something in the hand-shake was having issues having installed it between receiver and TV. They sell an extension cable for the LEDs since it is wall-mounted

Soo you would need to extend the LEDs over to where the PC is wiukkkdnt you? And they sell these extenders?
