Hi guys,
I've just brought a dreamscreens solo with X2 flex led strips and was wondering on the best way to configure for a 55" oled lg I heard using the two in parallel was best but not actually sure what that means if anyone give me photos instructions on the best way to get the most out of it.
Many thanks Kurt

I've never done myself. But did you check out the YouTube install guide for DIY 2 LED strip install? youtu.be/FljA0DhUiZs

You are correct, for a 55" TV you can apply both strips around the entire perimeter (in parallel) for double the brightness.
1) Apply the first strip to the entire perimeter of the TV normally. See 0:25-1:10 of this DIY video for reference (Just dont cut off the connectors of your Flex strips! They plug directly into the DreamScreen hub.): youtu.be/ObA5qHmzlpk?t=25. 2) Now apply the second strip exactly like the first. Start in the same corner, and align the first pair of LEDs together - try not to misalign the LEDs as you apply the second strip right next to the first. Also try to keep the second strip close to the first - you want to avoid a gap. Basically the goal is to make the second strip identical to the first.
3) Finally go into the app's settings and configure how you installed the LEDs. See 3:17 for reference: youtu.be/ObA5qHmzlpk?t=197. You will want to do this for both Channel 1 and Channel 2.

Thanks Kyle I've got one other important question.
My tv has a larger bottom than top at the back. Can I set the bottom to more LEDs from the top otherwise how do I solve this issue?
It's a LG oled c7 if that helps

You cannot set the top amount and bottom amount of LEDs differently. When running the LEDs in parallel they would both start at the bottom left corner and then go clockwise around the back of the screen.

I would have offset them to get better coverage rather that stacking them, just my opinion.

Valid point although IMO diffusion is perfectly fine with these strips as long as the display is more than a few inches away from the backsplash. If I get a moment I will duplicate the installation and do a comparison test.
