I’ve had my DS 4K for about a month now and up to now no issues, but last night about 90% of the LEDS froze on the colours they were omitting completely and no amount of rebooting the hub fixed the issue. I decided to unplug the device for 24 hours and now the same LEDs omit no light whatsoever, only the bottom right corner of my TVs DS is working. I’m running firmware version 1.6.5.7 and I haven’t done anything to make this happen it just happened by itself. I tried unplugging all the HDMIs then replugging leaving power to last and still no luck. Anyone else have this issue and fixed it?

Hi, I’ve just encountered the exact same problem at about the same time as yourself. I’m a UK customer and I got my unit from Lime Pro Gaming. My first 10 LEDS are still working, al the others are frozen completely, I can’t even put the unit into ‘sleep mode’ as 90% of the LEDS are permanently on.

***Update*** I’ve just found a semi solution the the problem, I literally, lightly touched the led strip just above the last working LED and now the others have all started responding too, but only very briefly.. Looks like I have a faulty LED strip. Just in case any admins are reading, I’d like to point out that the LEDS that are not responding are not directly next to a solder point.

***update 2***
10 minutes after the temporary fix, all the LED’s that we’re acting up ended up in a fit inducing, rapid flickering light show of every colour you could imagine, it was extremely uncomfortable for my eyes and then (thankfully,) they died completely. If I were you, I’d just unplug them and wait for a replacement.

Hi thanks for the reply! yes that's weird as I also am a UK customer and bought from LimeProGaming!. Shame because they worked great for 3 weeks and then just gave up the ghost. I did try touching the last LED but nothing happened for me, yh I think i'm gonna have to send it back sadly, pretty frustrating if you ask me!

I literally had the same thing happen to my flex strip tonight. The right side works just fine and half of the top works. I tap the first led not working and it turned red and then the rest that weren't working came on and froze to random colors. I reset everything and unplugged it and now it just works on the right side and the first half of the top.

Anyone had any luck yet? Lime programming got back to me and asked me to factory reset the unit and start the configuration process from scratch, tried and no luck! I’m hoping they will just tell me to send back and replace at this point.

Lime pro gaming have failed to even reply to my e-mail and actually stopped replying to my Facebook messenger the second that I mentioned ‘replacement’

I’ve had the exact same experience, nothing from LimePro at all, dreamscreen have asked me to send a video of the issue occurring which I have done and now waiting for them to confirm a new unit being sent, they are replacing the whole thing I think

If it is, it’s pretty pointless sending me out a new strip! I’ll keep this thread saved and keep you updated if I have the same problem in the future!
