I don't know what video output settings the Xbox has but for me and the PS4 Pro it won't work on the top setting [2160p- RGB], I can only get a signal through the DS4K setting to [2160P - YUV420]. I have tried using many different cables (see: dreamscreen.boards.net/thread/1671/thread-hdmi-cables).
I would fiddle with the video output settings on the Xbox to see if you can change anything, turn off all "auto" settings to begin with and start with the lowest settings, see if that works and then work your way up changing one setting at a time.
