Everytime I start my tv through the dreamscreen input i am greeted with static. The only way i can get it to work is by opening up the app and forcing it to restart. It doesn't even always work the first try. Sometimes 3 or 4 tries are needed to get the display working

What are the video devices you are using with DreamScreen? Are you using an HD or a 4K DreamScreen?

Sounds like hdmi cable issue to me, either fault or bad quality cables can produce a static like effect

May want to change the startup sequence, I had this issue until I powered on correctly, i.e. Powered switch... Then Source.... then projector.... Then DS. This worked for me, hope it helps!
