Each time i try to play a 4K movie with HDR on my PC, dreamscreen flickers violently, leds and sidekicks go offline and keeps switching on and off, same with TV as the TV looses signal from the AVR. The AVR goes crazy as well, it keeps clipping (not sure if thats the word), but I have verified everything. I have changed multiple HDMI cables, i brought cables from Monoprice, its the Premium certified hdmi cable (link below). I have tried a couple of other hdmi cables as well, and the results are the same. I think i have a defective HUB. Please understand, not only dreamscreen flickers, but my DS hub looses signal, and so thus my AVR. its like clipping. The entire signal from avr gets lost. This happens very voilently. It messes up my PC so bad, that i have to go back and do a system restore from the previous image. I have made a video to show how the entire thing goes offline both on the leds, sidekick, and the tv, and the avr becomes unstable as well. www.youtube.com/watch?v=AwnA5cS9tIII had earlier reached out to Victor, and he told me that the DS Solo 4K should resolve my issue, and they sent me the Solo kit, however after replacing the Original DS 4K hub with the Solo 4K hub, the issue STILL persists. I have an HDMI cable go from the AVR's 2nd HDMI monitor out to the solo, and the 1st HDMI out on the avr goes to the TV. Infact with the solo, the colors on the led are way off, blues have become orange, and greens have become blue even on 1080p I was thinking to go back to DS 4K hub, and get a HDFury Linker or the pricey Vertex If this resolves the issue. I love the DS but the integration sucks. I realize the product might be not sold anymore, and the firmware updates and app support might go away, but i if this works the way its right now with HDFury I am fine with that. Has anyone encountered this issue, and HDFury Linker/Vertex resolved it for them? The AVR is a Denon AVR-X4400H

I think a normal 4k HDR HDMI Splitter can solve your problems.
I also had a problem with the Solo that sometimes the picture disappeared. But I have a hdmi splitter and operate the solo at the second output of the splitter and since no more problems.

Thanks for helping with this. I am gonna check if they have the same model in the US on amazon. Or something similar. So you had same issues as me? Did you have two monitor outputs on your AVR? Did you also face issues while playing hdr movies? Did you also face the signal loosing issue as seen in my youtube video? Can you also please post how you have connected your hdmi splitter to the AVR, DS Hub, TV? Did you connect it to the DS 4k hub or 4k solo?

Also do u think this will work? www.amazon.com/dp/B07BX8JWV8Does your scaler have an auto scaling option, or is it manual. I was readon on hdfury thread on avsforum that it can be a pain in the butt if you have to manually upscale or downscale depending on what resolution you played last.

I first connected the Solo to the 2 AVR output, but had again and again short picture skip, but in 10 minutes intervals. Then i had the problem that the led flickered, not always but was very annoying. Then I put the Solo on the second hdmi output of the splitter. I also connected the first output to the tv. avr ----> 1 hdmi -----> TV avr ----> 2 hdmi -----> HDMI splitter Splitter -----> 1 HDMI -----> TV Splitter -----> 2 HDMI -----> SOLO 4K With that configuration, i never had that picture losing issue anymore. Only the LED flickering issue was still present but much less. Then the LED output of my Solo died. I think it was a Hardware issue. I'm waiting on my new Solo and hope that the flickering issue is solved. Try it with the Splitter, you can return it, if it wont work.

THanks so much for all the info. I have placed an order for the splitter, it should arrive by Monday, will post back on the status. Oh btw, there is an update. With the solo 4K the issue seems to have gone down, I mean the tv signal does not seem to loose anymore. The tv signal is constant, but the leds flicker like crazy. when turning on and off the movie. And If i am playing the movie on my 4K enabled PC.. when i turn off the media player, the entire pc stays in HDR mode.. thus saturating the entire system.. I have to reboot the pc for it to work again. I think the splitter should do the trick, or i will also order the HDFUry integral 2 and return it if the splitter does the job. I just want to get this issue resolved, it has taken a lot of energy and time.

Initially I brought a couple of Splitter with scalers, but none worked. I brought a HDFury Integral 2 that has an inbuilt scaler etc.. and it worked like a charm. I used the same configuration you mentioned above. For the first port that goes from hdfury to tv is 4K resolution on the splitter, and second port from hdfury going to solo is 1080p worked like a charm. The leds flicker though, its not perfect.
