This is great, I was also looking for some way to NOT have to use the app to control things. This script has most things already and with my initial play I can control my DS4K and sidekicks which is what I was looking for. The script has a lot of information on how the UDP codes are constructed if you can't use the script "as is".
It's worth noting that the script has a few bugs:
Below "if options.ip:" it references "ip" twice but it should be referencing "options.ip".
And even with this fix you still can't specify a different IP using the -i option as it calls setIP but after it calls that the IP/endpoint var won't have changed. So it needs a bit of tweaking if you expect to use the -i IP option.
The DS app is not completely terrible but it is fairly bad, especially if you have multiple DreamScreens or SideKicks. So having some way of using Harmony remote (via Harmony Hub or Flirc IR reader) or control via a PC is a good thing!
Thanks

Thanks Hi There, Might you please be able to supply to full modified script as i just keep getting the following error: "This has an error in your IP's length" I have entered my ip address into the script as follows IP = "10.18.1.200"
