I too had this flickering and black screen issues in video mode lots of people describe here, even with hdmi 2.1 8k qualified cables and low 420 settings. The only thing what helped a little was to build this cooler sandwich.

Whatever software or hardware reason lies behind this, the biggest problem of the DS4k is, in my opinion, heat. I still hope for a firmware update, but something makes me think that this won't come
