Ordered mine yesterday, we're in the 17,000 now. I'll hurry up and wait Got my shipping label notification today. Waiting for departure scan. I suppose this means they're all caught up. I got a 4K 60-80" (or whatever...65?) kit.

WOW. I ordered a 4k diy on the 5/28 and already got it today 6/1. Glad I waited. Although, One thing I would suggest they change is the "1999 style" text only shipment notification email came from what looks like a personal email address "rreddy@hotmail.com". I almost flagged it as spam or phishing attempt, because it doesn't look very professional and it didn't come from a dreamscreentv.com domain. (just saying) Thanks again for the fast shipping. (hope it works great) EDIT: Wow it really does work great! 5 stars! I love the auto shutoff feature via usb. The only downside is the color boost feature makes the colors less precise. For example orange turns to yellow. It seems to increase the brightness but not the saturation of the colors.

I got a package ID but that is all well and good seeing as nothing has shipped. Don't see the point of getting your hopes up with this tracking number. Bummer!!

Hey, how do you know your order number? I placed an order for a Mega 4k kit a few days ago but I have received nothing, no confirmation email or anything (except paypal). Is that okay?

I got the shipping email from rredy but it's saying that it's awaiting item on usps website. I think I have to contact dreamscreen to check the status.

I ordered like three weeks ago. I got the shipment notice the day after I ordered and NOTHING. I don't mind waiting but I'm frustrated that I got a shipment notice and theres been no action since.

For those of you who got a shipment notice but hasn't shipped, it's likely your order is awaiting a component. I got a shipment notice 2 weeks ago and no updates since, so I finally reached out and they let me know that my order is awaiting a shipment of Sidekicks to come in before it goes out (supposedly this week).

I got a shipment notice 2 weeks ago and no updates since, so I finally reached out and they let me know that my order is awaiting a shipment of Sidekicks to come in before it goes out (supposedly this week). I think they're telling everyone the same thing regardless of when you ask. I ordered 3 weeks ago and was told they would ship last week. Now apparently you're being told this week. To be fair to them though, I do prefer to get everything at once rather than be sent bits and pieces. I just wish they were more forthcoming about the situation instead of us having to reach out to them for information.

I get that they're not a massive operation, and as a Kickstarter backer of the original DS I'm not concerned that they won't deliver a quality product, it's just the lack of communication that's disappointing. From placing the order and not getting any type of notification for days, to months of silence to sending a shipping notification for something that won't ship for weeks, they definitely need to find a way to be more effective communicators. Hell, the lack of any official participation/comment in this, their own forum is disappointing. They've could've posted a short note here and saved themselves what I'm sure is dozens (if not hundreds) of emails asking for updates. I'd argue it's even more important for those pre-ordering from the website, who don't necessarily have access to some of the updates/comments being posted on Kickstarter or other forums.

Yeah - that would be the case for 99% of kickstarters. Communication. Based on all the kickstarters I have been following for years, It's safe to assume that no communication means that have nothing but bad news to say. Oh oh. How many people here are not ordering JUST because the items are in perpetual pre-order status and there's little to no info on shipping dates? I would be one of them.
