Just wanted to let the shipping team know that I was just told by Canada Post that anything valued $20 CAD (approx. $16 USD) and up will go through customs and get brokerage, tax & possibly duty on it. It's ridiculously low compared to the rest of the world. I think the USA is at $800 for e-commerce from other countries. I can't believe how low Canada's is. It's a minimum $10 handling fee and then tax % on the declared value (think it's 5%). They may choose to charge a duty % also but that usually depends on the value and what it is. I don't usually see a duty charge on most of my packages coming in, it just usually handling fee and tax. Not sure what you declare the values at for Canada but just wanted to let you know what we typically have to pay when stuff gets to us. Reference if needed. globalnews.ca/news/3605878/trump-asked-canada-to-drop-duties-on-internet-imports-under-nafta-canadians-should-cheer-say-experts/Hopefully the USA government can get our government to change it to $800 because we have no power to get it changed

Unfortunately, it's not much differente in Europe (the limit is EUR 22.- here, and the handling fee is EUR 13.-). And they're quite strict about it... I've had to pay ~EUR 15.- (import tax + handling fee) for packages of values as low as EUR 25.-
