Hey Guys,
The product looks pretty sweet. I just have a couple questions to help me decide what to buy and how to set up my system:
What is the difference between the Mega and the 1 Flex sets? It looks like they can both do basically the same size TVs. Is there a difference in the LEDs other than the fact that I would have to fold the Flex ones? What would be the advantage of one over the other if I've got a 60" TV?
Has anyone tried to integrate this with Sonos for audio modes? If so, what were your results?
Thanks, -Dan

my opionion
Mega / XL are probably a bit easier to install
Flex gives you more LEDs
See the DS manual and install videos on their website - that should give you a better idea

The LED's are of the "same quality". The flex LED's are WS2813 and have 24 LED's per meter. The mega has 72 LED's but can not tell what size the chips are. It would be nice if that information was listed somewhere.
The picture of the flex reel has changed in the last week and they looked liked the waterproof silicone covered kind. So folding would not really be an option. I saw somewhere that there may be some kind of connectors that are used for the corners.
I have a 59" plasma and it will use about 4.3 m of flex that comes to about 103 LED"S vs 72 for the mega. They have been out of stock for a couple of weeks and are due in any day....so I was told.

There are no connectors for the corners and the Flex reels do NOT have a silicon coating, thus they can be folded with no problems. This his been tested extensively by us and anyone who owns a Flex kit.

Good to know. Thanks! Another picture on the website showing the strip would be nice to see.
