If you find that your DreamScreen LED lights will not turn on at all in Video Mode please try the following steps: If one or more of the zones will not work try these steps: - From the app with the DreamScreen connected, try turning the zones on and off and video mode. If this does not work, try to use the Zones button on the DreamScreen Stick.
- Unplug the cables from your DreamScreen system, wait a few seconds, then plug them back in with the power cables LAST. We have occasionally noticed an issue with the lights not working properly if they are plugged in with power already running through the system. In addition to this, make sure that BOTH the power supply for the Splitter and the HDMI Stick are plugged in.
- In Settings, select "Television Size" and make sure the right size is selected for your set of LED lights. A smaller size being selected will make a portion of LEDs remain off because the DreamScreen thinks you have fewer lights.
- Applying a light pressure with your finger on the last working LED of the strip and see if that causes any changes. If this does not address the issue, please contact us via Contact Form on www.dreamscreentv.com

Hi!
I received my Dreamscreen today and it looks great. However, I have a big issue: In video mode (contrary to ambient mode) the bottom LEDs plus the lower side strips (both sides) and the lower LED of the center strip (also both sides) do not work. That is - apart from just 2 LEDs - the bottom half!
Just before sending, I found out, the input was 576p. I told my receiver to always send 1080p (upscale instead of native pass-through) and now it works. So, thereyou go.

Comdoxx, Thank you for this message.
If all LEDs work in ambient mode - then zone and brightness settings are all correct. If certain LEDs are not lit in Video Mode only, it typically points to a non-standard resolution from HDMI source. Many sources need to beset to 1080P (rather than Auto) to work correctly. DreamScreen supports 1080P (60, 50, 24fps), 1080I, 720P and 720I.

I have a similar issue when using a Wii. I haven't checked, but I guess it's also using a lower PAL or NTSC-like resolution. It's hooked up to my Yamaha RX-V671 receiver, so I should be able to have it upscale to HD, but haven't tried that yet.

If you have any HDMI inputs free on your receiver, you could also purchase a converter like this one to convert the Wii output to a 1080p HDMI signal.

My Yamaha receiver should have no problem doing the upscaling, I'll just need to tell it to actually do it. If I find the time tonight, I'll give it a try.
UPDATE: after forcing the receiver to always upscale to 1080p, the lights react normally using the Wii, now!

In video mode My dream screen flickers randomly on bottom, remains blue on top. Just got it. Have new Sony Bravia Xbox 65x850d. Tried all your methods, unplugging replugging etc. any other thoughts before I return? Been at this four hours, waited two weeks, very frustrating.

Hello, I already have the Dreamscreen installed but only the first 9 modules work, the rest does not go. What can it be? I gave the buttons to the USB and neither, just change to the first 9 modules, and I do not know what to do anymore, and tried everything. Request # 12125 I leave some images: It is disconnected, reconnected and everything remains the same. regards

I use translator I'm sorry if there are errors. Good, I have the 65/80 put on automatic and I even tried manual and I put 16 side and 32 up and do the same, it is as if the current does not reach or is fused.

The truth that wishing that it works, when installing was enthusiastic but to ignite I take a disappointment since I love the ambilight. I think they are sending me a new unit, here to thank "Victor and Rreddy" I have been trying to help in everything.
