When installing the flex LED's the manual shows a space in the starting corner however in the setup video it shows no spacing.
Kind of confusing. Apparently it doesn't matter?

I'm looking at the manual and I see what you mean. The gap does look a little excessive and so I've documented this, likely to be handled in the next revision of the manuals.
I would not leave a gap - start in the corner

Thank you Kyle. That's just what I did.
I used painters tape to hold it in position and adjusted the strip in or out till I knew the corners would fold equally and the start and stop would be about the same end spacing as well.....worked great.

Try to cut at the midpoint between LEDs.
