Does anybody have an HDMI switcher recommendation for the DS4K?
I have a PS4 Pro, Xbox One S, ATV4K, Chromecast 4k, Fios Box, LG C7 and Vizio Atmos Soundbar (ARC)
If possible, I would like to take my various devices and have them all go to a switcher and then go out from the switcher to the DS4K, out the DS4K to my LG C7 and out my LG C7 ARC to my Vizio Soundbar.
Obviously, I would like to keep HDR/Dolby Vision/Atmos working across the devices that support it.
Appreciate any thoughts on a switcher and my wishful setup.

I’m watching this thread because I need an alternative for the Connect and getting DS to work in my Harmony setup, since the Connect has been pushed back with horrible an update on this forum that hasn’t been edited since October...

mosi, Hi, with such (somewhat expensive) components, you might consider looking at the HDFury DIVA which is expected to be available this month... No idea of the price yet, but it has 4 HDMI inputs (compatible with anything commercially available), meaning that you would still have to add a 2:1 HDR switch to one of the inputs). Here is where things get interesting, it has 3 HDMI outputs and this is how I think you can use them: 1) Full video to the TV (HDR, DV, HLG) up to 4K 2) Downscaled video to 1080p (keeping HDR) to the DS4K (works well with my HDFury Vertex, no more flickering at 24Hz or LEDs lighting up without reason) 3) Audio only for full compatibility with limited AVRs (HDCP 1.4, non-4K video support, etc.) to your sound bar, bypassing any ARC limitation. Check-out the HDFury DIVA thread on AVSForums and submit any question you may still have after reading the thread, they answer very quickly. I am not affiliated with HDFury, just lucky to have stumble upon their products a couple of years ago and happy to share their professionalism and dedication with others... They are very flexible and constantly adding options that customers need, just ask them. Regards, W.

I used this one 5x1 HDMI 2.0 switch from Sewell Direct "https://sewelldirect.com/5x1-hdmi-switchdeck-with-onoff-autoswitching-". However, Keep in mind the DS4K does not support Dolby Vision but does Support HDR. I have had no issues with HDR/Dolby Vision/Atmos with the switch. The switch is relatively inexpensive. Since you use the harmony remote I do recommend disabling the CEC function on all your devices to eliminate conflicts and also disable auto-switching on the HDMI switch. support.myharmony.com/en-us/understanding-hdmi-and-cec

Based on your recommendation I saw they had another product on their page, the Spider 4x2 "https://sewelldirect.com/4x2-hdmi-20-matrix". I'm hoping that the EDID will let me force a stable downscaled output to the DS4K on the secondary, which will allow me to keep its internal switch and HDMI audio lag, out of the setup. I'll follow up to let folks know if it works, I really hope it does!

The Sewell 4x2 switch didn’t work well with Harmony (they want you to buy the $250 box that’s fully compatible with Logitech......) and the supplied remote broke in less than 30 minutes. I ended up getting the EZCOO 4x2 from Amazon which achieved exactly what I was looking for and more. You can read about my experience and exact setup that allows Dolby Vision to work WITH the lights! I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an HDMI switcher. dreamscreen.boards.net/thread/1626/hdmi-switch-fix-when-fails?page=1#scrollTo=6194

I would recommend a matrix over a switcher as they have more features to dial in. You can have them handshake one way with one device and another way with another device. Really makes things easier in the long run.
