Hey,
So my DS HD MEGA has just arrived after waiting for a while. So I install the hub LED's and plugged in all the inputs and output to TV. I come and turn it on only 1 LED is lit and the rest aren't (not sure if this is supposed to happen or are all LED supposed to light up once plugged into the power source). So i continue to set up through the app, I add a new device and it tells me to go to my WIFI settings and connect to the DS, but i can't even find the DS.
I have numerously tried unplugging and plugging the power and supply and the LED plug and still nothing. I still get that 1 LED working and sometimes 3.
Has anyone run into this initial set up issue?
Thanks

Just to make sure, have you turned on your location?

Just to make sure, have you turned on your location? My DS doesn't turn on, apparently there should be a light that indicates the status. But weirdly enough the LEDs sometimes works.

With DreamScreen plugged in the Mode LED on the side should be on (either red, purple, blue, or yellow.) If this is not the case please contact us at info@dreamscreentv.com detailing this issue, so that we may get you replacement hardware if need be.

Nicko, do you have a DreamScreen BLE stick or a DreamScreen HD WiFi hub? Either way, if the status LED is not turning on, please do email us

So long story short followed all the setup steps and watched vids to make sure when it arrived setup would go flawlessly and for the most part was a piece of cake. Except when I plugged the power into the Hub its dead, there is no light, there is response with the LEDs or the HDMI. A little frustrating considering these things are hard to get and on top of it expensive to have it not function out the box. Anyone else have similar issues and what were the results or steps taken to get a resolution?

What's the expected turn around time for responses? Seems like someone having issues with hardware should be a easy priority and CS team could work with me to get a resolution but I still haven't gotten an initial response.

Apparently not any good. considering this post has not gotten a response in 3 days. Also it would appear more people are having this very issue as reported on amazon.

I thought our formal support through our email/ticketing system was pretty good - you should have definitely gotten an email reply by now.
On the forum however it's a little different

Im also having an issue with my hub. I tripled checked All connections and they are in place, however, the LED light on hub is not illuminating and the LED’s on back of my TV wont light up.
My sidekicks do work, for the ambient lighting, but not in sync with the tv. On the dreamscreen app, the video and music buttons are greyed out and cant click on them for a response.
What sucks even more is, I have my firestick and cable box hooked up to the hub, so I cant even watch my cable TV or my firestick, without removing all the cables from the hub and plugging them into my TV, which is a major hassle I dont feel like doing.
I sent an email to dreamscreen 2 days ago and still have not received a response. For what they charge for their product, they should have a customer service phone number or at minimum be more responsive to replying to emails.
Please help! Dreamscreen or anybody!
