Andre, yes, it would probably fix your issue. I can't say for sure but I will say what it did for me. I now have the HDMI Matrix as detailed here, the EZ-MX42PRO-HAS model (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B078YS79HZ/). I don't have an HDMI AVR so I am using the matrix as a switch for my two sources (PS4 and PC) and the second 1080p output to the DS4K. I ended up having to use Premium Certified HDMI cables (in my case mrocioa ones from Amazon UK). Some of the HDMI cables I had before (including the one supplied with the DS4K) were not up to the job. What I like about the matrix: - Fixes all the problems caused by the DS4K. I now have full PS4 4K/RGB/HDR support back and absolutely no flickers or dropouts. - I can switch inputs using my Harmony IR remote (which of course you can't do with the DS4K). - I can use the optical output from the matrix to my AVR so I get both Dolby Digital & DTS support from my sources whenever I need. Previously I was using the optical from my TV which only supported Dolby Digital OR DTS passthrough via a setting, not both whenever I wanted. What I don't like: - The matrix does not support CEC commands which I was previously using to operate PS4 Netflix with a Harmony IR remote. Back to using the PS4 controller... - I do get a split second of audio "cracking" sound sometimes when sources start up or change from DD to DTS etc. Hi, thank you. But...when i use and optical cable from the splitter to the AVR i don't have HD sound like DTS-HD rights? If yes its not good. Question: when i use these splitter on my AVR HDMI output to input, and from there 1 output to the TV (original unchanged signal e.g. 4k, HDR, and the other output to the DS4k solo and downscale to 1080 will it fix the problems (also the PS4 problem) ? Sorry for this stupid question i don't understand too much technical things within the HDMI specifications and why there are sometimes so much problems with the DSk4 Solo. Why i ask? I will not loose picture quality and HD sound at all costs. AND it should be practical for my wife. The splitter itself works alone if the setup is finished? Greetings André

I just wanted to report that, the HDMI splitter I posted here earlier has worked very well. It works with Dolby atmos, HDR10, no more flickers, the splitter downscales DS to 1080p very well, there has not been disconnections or issues. I had a HDFURY vertex, and supposedly gave me issues, i sent it back.

If you mean Dolby Vision, what kind of TV do you have?

I have to thanks you for this post! I have a bad time to find a splitter who will work with my Xbox One X (And having all check mark green). Since I don't need a matrix like EZ-MX42PRO-HAS I bough the spitter from the same compagny EZ-SP12HAS and it work like a charm. I have tried 2 other splitter (will list bellow) who have failed to work properly. The EZ-SP12HAS have a swith to downscale the signal of output 2 (witch connect to DS4K) to 1080p where i'm happy to tell it fix the 24p flashing issue. But I have a but, my TV don't support Dolby Vision so I can't confirm the Dolby Vision work with this switch but if we trust the description on Amazon it will be ok. Here my setup. All Xbox, cable box, ect. go to a AVR, the output of AVR go to the EZCOO splitter, 4K output to TV and 1080p (Downscale) go to DS4K. I simply send signal to DS4K, i don't use it as a switch. no output from DS4K. Here the EZCOO who work: www.amazon.ca/dp/B078YRDZKJ/ref=pe_3034960_236394800_TE_dp_1Here the switch I test and don't work www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07DN6DX2Kwww.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07L722PT9

Mmh to my problem above and the posts after (splitter) a question. Is the main problem of the ds4k or the ds4ksolo the 4k output? Or why it all works with the 1080p output so well??
Edit: 2nd question: the splitter above that will work he work alone or you have to setup things everytime you switch on?

For that on: www.amazon.ca/dp/B078YRDZKJ/ref=pe_3034960_236394800_TE_dp_1 for my part the problem before using the splitter was I can use signal in 4K 23.98 or 24p (Led flicker) but now since I use the splitter and downconvert the signal to 1080p the output(2) who it go to DS4K and 4K output(1) who go to the TV. no more flicker and the splitter keep the HDR signal to the 1080p output so DS4K output the good color without a problem. Since it simply a splitter it's always ON and take whatever IN to output to the two OUT. Nothing to change except the first time to put the little switch to tell the output 2 will be downscaled to 1080p.

Thank you. One more question. For HDR do you use tone mapping? (In the app)
The colors with HDR and SDR are correct?

Just a heads up for everyone. The HDFurry Diva is still showing pre-order ordering but started shipping yesterday (https://www.hdfury.com/product/4k-diva-18gbps/). I have one on the way. It's an expensive option but it should handle everything that's thrown at it (cec, DV, etc). My plan is to put my DS on the 1080 output to take care of the flickering and other issues. It also has an ambilight option that might prove useful in the future with DS closing up shop. I'm nervous of an iOS update killing the app. The light kit for the Diva is free for pre-orders. It's not on feature parity yet with the DS but I know most of what's missing is in development. So I'm looking at it as a bit of future proofing but plan to stick with the DS for now.

In SDR all Colors are good and on HDR depending on content sometime I use the tone mapping to make the light pop more since sometime light are little fade. I will add some photos to the post when I have time to take them.
